So I just changed the background picture for my little title banner thing. I don't like palm trees, but whatever, it's just the view from my bathroom window.
Okay so I'm listening to this old Martha Wainwright song, called Bring Back my Heart. It's a few years old, and it's just stunning. You should know that I generally dislike ballads; slow music drives me crazy unless it's Cat Power. I especially hate slow music when the lyrics are over emotional and/or fruity. And though this song is both ballad and pure, raw, emotion, it's just amazing to me. I think it's the way it's sung paired with the imagination-boost the album art gives me (I love the beach + city lights combo). It's just stunning and heartbreaking.
So I'm not sure if you're aware, but I've been victim of a pretty nasty bee sting. It's like, swollen. Alot. Plus it's purple. Ew my ex just signed on AIM wtf it's midnight.
Well tomorrow we leave to go college shopping. I honestly cannot wait to just get on the road, I don't even care where we go. Now that I have my replacement ipod (yeah, the one I got for christmas was stolen) I can't wait to just tune in and look out the window for a few hours. Plus I need to pick a location of higher education. Slant rhyme- remind me to rap about locations of higher education.
